Comics Rant: Amazing Spider-Man #24

Amazing Spider-Man #24
Written by Dan Slott & Christos Gage
Pencilled by Giuseppe Camuncoli
Inked by Cam Smith
Colored by Jason Keith

Well, it's safe to say that I feel pretty damn guilty about not picking up the Clone Conspiracy mini series. I guess, I'll just have to wait for the trade to fill in the blanks. Now that I think of it, the regular Amazing Spider-Man series has done a really good job, without me having to fork over extra cash. Thanks, Dan Slott.

Comics Rant: Mighty Thor #15

Mighty Thor #15
Written by Jason Aaron
Drawn by Russell Dauterman
Colored by Matthew Wilson

Even though it's issue #15, the good folks over at the House of (recycled) Ideas made sure that we got a brand new #1 thrown right up in the upper right hand corner. God forbid we DON'T confuse our newer readers. I'm kidding, there are no new readers. But sadly, this is all I have to gripe about for the issue.

Comics Rant: Black Widow #10

Black Widow #10
Story by Mark Waid & Chris Samnee
Drawn by Chris Samnee
Colored by Matthew Wilson

Despite what you see is going down on the cover, Black Widow is not giving the Winter Solider, Bucky Barnes, a tattoo. I mean, that would be a little bit off kilter there, don't you think? But with Waid and Samnee at the helm, it would be just about better than any thing else out on the comic book market from the big two.

That said, lets jump right into this rant. Black Widow, Winter Solider, along with the real Weeping Lion head to the Moon.

Comics Rant: All Star Batman #6

All Star Batman #6
Written by Scott Snyder
Drawn by Jock
Colored by Matt Hollingsworth

Some creepy ass elements of Spawn have somehow crept into this issue of All Star Batman and I ain't mad. Mr. Freeze is back, (finally) with a new attempt to wreck the planet. Gee, this guy couldn't just sit back and let global warming do it's thing naturally? Would have just been easier.

Comics Rant: Amazing Spider-Man #23

Amazing Spider-Man #23
Written by Dan Slott and Christos Gage
Penciled by Giuseppe Camuncoli
Inked by Cam Smith
Colored by Jason Keith

A super entertaining issue of Amazing Spider-Man that doesn't feel like it literally reached into your pocket and took the $3.99? Well, we get that every month so it's safe to say if you read this book, you're spoiled. Well, that and Silver Surfer. Both very well written books, again by Mr. Slott. He's Marvel's answer to Geoff Johns. He can take any property or story and add a new twist to make it new again.
